PUSHKIN & GOGOL (b. 2017) originated in Berlin as a contemporary art gallery with locations in Kreuzberg and Charlottenburg. The name Pushkin & Gogol is the title of a fake play written by Soviet-era avant-garde/absurdist/poet/writer Daniil Kharms. In December 2020, a metamorphosis occured. P&G became a art-service company based in Dallas, Texas.

Founder/Director, Kevin Rubén Jacobs has over 13 years experience handling artwork. At The Goss-Michael Foundation between 2011 — 2015, Jacobs developed from intern to Educational Programmer, then to Exhibitions Manager and finally Curator, caring for over 500 works of contemporary British art. During that time, he founded and directed OFG.XXX (Oliver Francis Gallery - b. 2011 - 2024), organizing over 50 exhibitions and performances. He began freelancing in 2016, working for Dallas Contemporary, the Dallas Museum of Art and for private clients.
